Flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine)

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) is a central neuromuscular relaxant that blocks sensations of pain. Its active ingredient, cyclobenzaprine, is mainly used in treatment for osteochondrosis to relax the muscles of the back that become very tense at a certain moment of the disease, which results in a severe pain. Flexeril increases the efficiency of massage, exercise therapy, manual therapy and painkillers.

Flexeril may be sold as Amrix, Fexmid, Comfort Pac with Cyclobenzaprine.
