Zovirax Cream (Generic)

Zovirax (Acyclovir) is cream used to relieve pain and to expedite healing of ulcers and blisters on the body, chickenpox and herpes zoster. Zovitax is also used to prevent genital herpes provoked by viruses. The drug is included into the category of antiviral medications called synthetic nucleoside analogs. It works by stopping the herpes virus spreading and multiplying along the body. It cannot prevent herpes outbreaks, but it is very effective to reduce its symptoms if applied immediately at first sings of disorder.
